Blue Carbon Summer School 2023

Registration

For the Blue Carbon Summer School 2023 held in Wimereux, from the 26th to the 30th of June 2023, the maximal number of participants is set to 30.

Registration has to be done in two steps :

  1. Send your Curriculum Vitae (.pdf file preferably) and a short motivation letter in english following this template (1000 characters max. including spaces) to BlueCarbon2023univ-lillefr
    The scientific committee will regularly have a meeting and select candidates. (Please mention if friendship between participants, co-workers, co-travels, car-pool...).
     
  2. Selected participants will be sent an acceptation E-mail, as well as a link to a dedicated website for payment of the final registration to the Blue Carbon Summer School 2023 in Wimereux. Upon payment of the final registration, each participant will be sent a confirmation E-mail.

Registration fee :

For the Blue Carbon Summer School 2023 held in Wimereux, from the 26th to the 30th of June 2023, the registration fee is :

  1. 350 € for PhD students, Post-Doctoral young researchers *
  2. 800 € for permanent researchers (confirmed researchers)

*A special discount will be applied for PhD students from the partners Universities (KU Leuven, Kent Univ., Ghent Univ., Lille Univ.), lowering the price to a registration fee of 250 €.

All registration fees include :

  • Accommodation in collective mobil-homes (3 to 6 participants per mobil-home) for the whole duration of the Summer School (arrival on 25th June 2023 in the afternoon, departure on 1st of July in the morning)
  • 5 Breakfasts at the Marine Station of Wimereux (26 to 30 June 2023)
  • 5 Lunches at the Marine Station of Wimereux (26 to 30 June 2023) - Vegetarian meals available upon request
  • One Gala dinner
  • Visit of Nausicaa Aquarium and ‘Behind the scene’ guided Tour (in English)
  • Field trip to the Canche Bay for discovery and sampling
